About Us
HB Consultancy (HBC) is an interior deign consultancy firm with office in Singapore and affiliated partners throughout Southeast Asia and the Greater China. We are committed to ingenuity and practicality regardless of budget, scale or project category. Our expertise are in workplace design; however we also specialise in retail and hospitality interiors. Since our incorporation in 2011, we have successfully delivered over 100 projects ranging from offices, financial services, training facilities and shops.

We develop our design with passion, creativity and practicality, intended to improve the wellbeing of the people spending time in those spaces, staff collaboration and business functionality. We work with client as our prerogative, adopting to any preferred theme and incorporating the design with specific corporate design guidelines the business may have, producing an environment both unique and coherent to the business corporate guideline.

We partner with reputable suppliers and builders to support compliance with environment friendly design. At HBC, we endeavor to be “Green” at all possible opportunities, within our own business and in our approach to design projects. HBC always ensures our design complies with the regulations and requirements of the Statutory and respective building managements, making all necessary pre-consultation before the design is presented to the client for review, making sure what you see is what you can get.
Connectivity
We began as a boutique design firm and have expanded to over 20 staff members across Southeast Asia and Greater China. Our commitment includes assigning a dedicated designer to handle all key design requirements globally, while the local design team ensures compliance and detailed development in each country. We maintain strong relationships with equipment and finishes vendors, ensuring seamless supply and delivery across Southeast Asia and Greater China
Design Philosophy – Strategise
HBC’s design methodology not only accounts for aesthetics and functionality, we make sure the design integrates the corporate guidelines, budget, buildability, sustainability, balance of needs and wants from the staffs’ wish list, leaving no stones unturned. We have worked with the toughest budget, but such situation does not limits our innovative ideas. When there is a will there is a way.

Our design are always pre-consulted with the qualified person of the locality to ensure full compliance before presenting to the client for considerations. No simple guess and move forward.

Meet The Team
Chris Lim
Chris has over 20 years of quality experience through a variety of challenging roles in Operation Management, Project Management, Multi-disciplined Building Services Engineer, Head Contractor and M&E Sub-contracting capacities. Extensively travelled and well networked, Chris is especially experienced in projects ranging from Commercial Offices Critical Facilities, Banking Facilities, Top Security Government Facilities, Academic Institutions, and Industrial Warehouse / Food Processing.
Chris possesses strong Project Management and Engineering Skills including the Evaluation and Assessment of various disciplines of the building process, Project Due-diligence / Feasibility Studies, Design Concept Development, Compilation of Design Brief and RFPs, Evaluation and Recommendations of Proposal, Review and Recommendation of Integrated Services Tests with the ability of a successful team leader to drive and achieve predetermined goals. Chris’s experiences to deliver on time, complex projects with time and budget as prerogatives exhibits the exclusive skill sets to effectively manage projects of various technical complexities and buildabilities. Chris is now looking to make a continued significant contribution within a Senior Management role that utilises his exclusive project management skills.
Fion Eng
Fion is the Contract Director at HB Consultancy Singapore. She responsible as the contracts, documentation, budget, costing and overall management for delivering a project from inception until completion, within time, budget and in good quality finishes.

With over 20 years of experience, Fion is especially experienced without design and cost managements to achieve client design and budget without compromising fit-out quality. Prior to HBC, Fion had meticulously trained in several multinational design firms, Space Matrix & Mmoser to name a few, and acquired undisputed design and contractual management skills which are purposefully untilised to assist our client in excellent project design and delivery.
